William Joseph "Will" Burks

Mr. William Joseph "Will" Burks, age 35, of Chireno, Texas, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2023, in Nacogdoches County, Texas.

Will was born December 11, 1987, in Nacogdoches to parents William Keith and Kimberly Azell (Calder) Burks and was a lifelong area resident.

His survivors include his wife, Brandy Burks of Chireno, Texas; daughters, Shelby Faircloth and Audrey Burks, both of Chireno, Texas; sisters, Ashley Chandler and husband Jared of Etoile, Texas, and Christina Bearden and husband Matthew of Geneva, Texas; grandparents, Ruth and Gerald Hedge of Chireno, Texas; parents-in-law, Mike and Susan English of Huntington, Texas, and Connie and Thomas Martin of Frankston, Texas; brothers-in-law, Chris Bush of LaPorte, Texas, and Adam Martin of Tyler, Texas; a sister-in-law, Stephanie Worthy of Orange, Texas; nieces and nephews, Aiden, Cami, Weylyn, Blake, Stormie, Branson, Brenhem, and Brightyn; and special precious family members, Seth Johnson and wife Jacki and family, Teresa Johnson, Kathryn Johnson, and Bobby and Linda Calder, all of Chireno, Texas, and Danny and Kim Calder of Campti, Louisiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Keith and Kimberly Azell Calder Burks; brothers, Weldon Burks and Wade Burks; grandmother, Ann Falleur; and grandfather, Billy Burks.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 30, 2023, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home Chapel, located at 316 W. Columbia Street in San Augustine, Texas.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 30, 2023.
