William Keith Burks

Mr. William Keith Burks, age 57, of Chireno, Texas, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2020, at Woodland Heights Medical Center in Lufkin, Texas.

Mr. Burks was born Nov. 7, 1962, in Nacogdoches, Texas, to Jocelyn "Ann" Ross Burks Falleur and the late William Earl "Billy" Burks. He was a longtime resident of the Chireno area. He enjoyed the outdoors. William was a skilled carpenter.

His survivors include his wife, Kim Burks of Chireno, Texas; daughters, Ashley Sowell and Jared Chandler of Chireno, Texas, and Christina Bearden and husband Matthew of Geneva, Texas; his son, Will Burks and wife Brandy of Chireno, Texas; his mother, Ann Falleur and husband Mike of Broaddus, Texas; his grandchildren, Shelby Burks, Aiden Sowell, Cami Sowell, Blake Bearden, Stormie Bearden, and Weylyn Chandler; a sister, Teresa Johnson; brothers, Roger Burks and Robert Burks; very special nephew and niece, Seth Johnson and Kathryn Johnson; and a host of other nephews and nieces. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Burks; and his sons, Weldon Burks and Wade Burks.

A memorial service is being planned for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home's chapel, located at 316 W. Columbia Street in San Augustine, Texas.
