Vickie Amburn Perez

Vickie Amburn Perez, a longtime resident of the San Augustine/Broaddus area, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2021, in Lufkin, Texas, at the age of 57.

Vickie was born October 14, 1963, in San Augustine County, Texas, to Shirley Ann (Quinn) and Charles Donnell Amburn. She loved her family and friends. Vickie had worked at several local businesses, primarily in sales, and was a lifelong resident of the area.

Her survivors include her daughter, Christian Johnson of San Augustine; her dad, Kenneth Wilkinson of San Augustine; brothers and sisters, Donnie Thompson of San Augustine, Charles Wayne Amburn and wife Tammy of Missouri, Ricky Amburn, Jerry Amburn, and Les Amburn, all of Newton, Lisa Wilkinson of Joaquin, David Wilkinson and wife Rita of San Augustine, and Sheila Allen of Chireno; grandchildren, Victoria, Jasmine, Madalyn, Jacob, and Jada; a special friend, Dwayne Williams of Broaddus; lifelong friend, Jennifer Davis of San Augustine; best friend, Christy Wallace of Broaddus; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her son, Kody Johnson; mother, Shirley Ann Wilkinson; father, Charles Donnell Amburn; sister, Karen Amburn; and a nephew, Charles Wayne Amburn Jr.

A graveside service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Attoyac Cemetery, located at 600 FM 3316 in San Augustine County, with Bro. Skipper Eberlan officiating.

Family and friends will meet at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home for the procession leaving at 9:30 a.m.

Pallbearers: Trenton Williams, Scott Williams, David Cooper, Dexter Watts, Mike Bradberry, and Andy Herrera. Honorary pallbearers: Lyndale Johnson and Jennifer Davis.
