Shirley Ann Wilkinson

Mrs. Shirley Ann Wilkinson of San Augustine, Texas, passed away Sunday, February 2, 2020, at Memorial Hospital in Nacogdoches, Texas, at the age of 77.

Mrs. Wilkinson was born September 25, 1942, in San Augustine County, Texas, and had been a lifelong area resident. She attended Goodwin School for her early education and then graduated from Broaddus High School. Shirley enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of White Rock Baptist Church.

Her survivors include her husband, Kenneth Wilkinson of San Augustine; daughter, Donnie Thompson of San Augustine; son, Charles Wayne Amburn and wife Tammy of Missouri; daughter, Vickie Amburn Perez of Broaddus, Texas; step-son, David Wilkinson and wife Rita of San Augustine, Texas; step-daughter, Lisa McCoy and husband James of Joaquin, Texas; ten grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Amburn; grandsons, Charles Wayne Amburn Jr. and Kenneth Kody Johnson; her parents, Wid and Ruth Quinn; and a brother, Curtis Quinn.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, located at 316 W. Columbia Street in San Augustine, Texas.

Funeral services are set for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel. Committal services and interment will follow at Attoyac Cemetery, located on FM 3316 in San Augustine County.

Pallbearers: Gary Brewer, David Cooper Jr., Michael Bradberry, Dwayne Williams, James Paul Voght, and Lyndall Johnson.
