Sharon Coleman Obituary

Sharon Elaine Coleman of San Augustine County, Texas, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2019, at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Born May 25, 1944, Ms. Coleman was a native of Champagne, Illinois, and had lived in San Augustine County for a number of years. She was a retired cook and had worked at several various restaurants in the East Texas area through the years. Sharon was actively involved East Texas Community Health Services Inc. and served several years on the board of directors for this community based organization. She attended New Hope Baptist Church.

Her survivors include her sons, Ralph "R.E." Lackey and wife Paula of San Augustine County, Texas, Everett Lackey of Springfield, Illinois, and Clyde Coleman of Martinsville, Texas; a daughter, Kay Pearson of Minnesota; a sister, Marcie; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Private service arrangements have been provided by Wyman Roberts Funeral Home in San Augustine.
