Rosario (DeLaFuente) Henley

Rosario DeLaFuente Henley, age 78, of Bridge City, Texas, passed away Friday, August 27, 2021, at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.

She was born March 18, 1943, in Brownsville, Texas, to parents Severa (Barbosa) and Jose' Delefunte, and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her daughters, Mary Wyrick of Texarkana, Lurleen Henley of Bridge City, and Petra Andrews and her husband Jason of Kingwood; sisters, Mary Narvarro, Sophia Garza, and Jaime DeLeFuente; brother, Ray DeleFuente; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Severa and Jose' DeLeFuente; son, John Ellis Henley; and a sister, Connie Garcia. 

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 4, 2021, in the Parker Cemetery in San Augustine County, located off FM 2213 in San Augustine County. 

Visitation will be from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 4, 2021, in the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, 316 West Columbia Street, San Augustine, Texas.
