Robert Scott

Robert Allen Scott, age 62, of San Augustine, passed from this life Friday, October 1, 2021, in San Augustine County, Texas.  Robert was born to parents,  Burl Dean (Gay) Scott and Preston Milton Scott on November 10, 1958, in Los Angeles, California.  

Robert was a graduate of LaPorte High School in LaPorte, Texas.  He worked in construction where he known as a skilled carpenter.  He was known to help anyone who needed his help, and was well loved by his friends, and family, and will be dearly missed. 

His survivors include his stepsons, Richard Hanson and wife Jessica, Jimmie Hanson and Vanessa, Homer Hanson, and Mikey Hanson; his beloved sisters, Terrie L. SantaMaria, Lisa G. Scott, and Vickie G. Potts; his nephews, Michael W. Potts and wife Aheryka, Ricky "Anthony" Lara,  Aaron M. Smith, and a niece, Amber D, Lara; great nieces, Cloey Mendez, Camryn A. Mercado, Ari Ramerez, and Evilin Ramerez and a great-nephew, Christopher Mercado; his beloved aunts, Patricia Lowe, Bonnie Scott, and Christine Zotalis; along by numerous other family members, and many friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Burl and Milton Scott; his nieces, Nicolette Denise Lara and Kristen Danielle Escareno and a great-nephew, infant baby A.J. Smith, and a brother-in-law, Doug Arbour.  

Memorial Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 9, 2021, in the Rosevine United Pentecostal Church, located at 8285 Gravelhill Road #5572 in Bronson, Texas  75930.  Officiating will be Bro. Gordon Simmons, and Bro. Don Snider. 

Visitation will begin Saturday, October 9, 2021, from the hours of 12 noon to 2 p.m. at the Church.
