Mr. Richard Patrick Byrne, age 59, passed away Friday, June 11, 2021, at his residence in Shelby County, Texas.

Born June 22, 1961, Mr. Byrne was a native of the Boston, Massachusetts, area and had lived in East Texas for a number of years. He was a U.S. Navy Reserves veteran and retired from his career in marketing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Catherine and Richard Byrne.

His survivors include his husband, Anthony Rizzitano of Shelby County, Texas, and his siblings, Catherine O'Brien and Paul Byrne and their families.

Private memorial arrangements are being provided by Wyman Roberts Funeral Home in San Augustine, Texas.
