Rev. Robert L. Faulk

Rev. Robert L. Faulk, age 80, of San Augustine, Texas, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2021, in San Augustine.

Bro. Robert was born October 25, 1940, in Center, Texas to parents Wylma Lawrence Faulk and John Henry Faulk. He was a longtime resident of San Augustine and was a retired minister, having served a number of churches in the state of Texas.

His survivors include his daughters, Terrie Faulk Wagstaff of Crosby, Texas, Jan Faulk Jacobs and husband Tim of Splendora, Texas, Lisa Sharp and husband Charles of San Augustine, Texas, Rhonda Perry and husband Clifford of San Augustine, Texas, and Kim Godwin and husband Quinn of Daisetta, Texas; sons, John Faulk and wife Eileen of Houston, Texas, and Eddie Simmons and wife Amy of Cushing, Texas; grandchildren, Randa Smith and Brian Smith, Emory Faulk, Evan Faulk, Kinley Faulk, Adam Sharp and Candace, Brandon Sharp, Jordan Godwin and Monica, Tyler Godwin and Brittany, Lauren Godwin and Garrett Wilkins, Colt Simmons and Taylor Simmons, Cade Simmons and Emily, and Claire Fears and Brendon; and 9 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Faulk; parents, John and Wylma Faulk; brother, Bruce "Lefty" Faulk; and a great-grandson, Taytum Sharp.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2021, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, located at 316 W. Columbia Street in San Augustine.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2021, at the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel with Bro. Charles Roberts and Bro. Steve Killiam officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery, located at 1986 FM 2974 in Center, Texas.

Pallbearers: Adam Sharp, Brandon Sharp, Jordan Godwin, Tyler Godwin, Cade Simmons, and Eddie Simmons.
