Mildred Chapman Obituary
Mildred M. (Beard) Chapman, age 86, a longtime resident of Broaddus, died Monday, August 26, 2019, in Nacogdoches. She was born in Broaddus, Texas July 30, 1933, to Ben Thomas Beard and Ethel (Sheard) Beard.
Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 30, 2019, in the Broaddus Church of Christ, located off Buchanan Street, in Broaddus. She was retired from Gulf Oil as a drafter in the Engineering Department and was a longtime member of the Broaddus Church of Christ.
She is survived by, son, Andrew F. Chapman, and wife, Jean of Broaddus; daughter-in-law, Tammie Chapman, and son-in-law, Sim Abel of Broaddus; 4 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ethel and Ben Beard; daughters, Jo Ellen Dismukes and Mary Janette Abel; sons, Ben Chapman and Cecil Chapman; grandsons, Buck Abel, and Robert Andrew (Drew) Chapman.
