Mary Bell (Molandes) Dill

Mrs. Mary Bell Dill, age 82, of San Augustine, Texas, passed away Monday, September 18, 2023, at her residence.

A native of Nacogdoches, she was born January 17, 1941, to parents Lula (Arriola) and W.M. Molandes. She was a former longtime resident of Elkhart and Nacogdoches before recently moving to San Augustine to be with her family. Mrs. Dill had worked as a beautician and nurse's aide at Nacogdoches Convalescent Center. She was a caregiver at heart and in addition to her work, she strived at providing care for family and friends in any way possible.

Her survivors include her daughter, Linda Campbell and husband Doug Jr. of San Augustine; granddaughter, Melisa Simpson and husband Jake; grandson, Michael Porter Jr.; three great-grandchildren, Hunter Luke Dees, Riley Dees, and Hailey Porter; sisters, Rose Ann Husband and Jane Evelyn Lantrip; a niece, Ouida Mathis, who was much like a daughter; and a host of other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her father, W.M. Molandes; Lula Littleton; and brothers, James Molandes, Donald Molandes, John O. Molandes, and Wesley Molandes.

A Celebration of Life Service is pending and will be planned later.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Wyman Roberts Funeral Home in San Augustine.
