Linda Faye (Wagstaff) Long

Linda Faye Long, 69, of Huntington, Texas, passed away Friday, March 17, 2023, at Kennedy Healthcare & Rehab Center in Lufkin, Texas.

Mrs. Long was born April 20, 1953, in Center, Texas, to parents Cecil and Vina (Dailey) Wagstaff. She grew up in the Broaddus, Texas, area and had lived in Angelina County, Texas, for the past several years. She had worked in area grocery stores and restaurants. Linda had a great love for the outdoors, especially working her flowers. She also loved animals, especially her chickens and dogs.

Her survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Julie Allen of Bullard, Texas; sisters, Syble Williams of Broaddus, Texas, Betty Sue Parker of Apple Springs, Texas, and Nancy Phillips of Huntington, Texas; a brother, Jay Wagstaff of Jewett, Texas; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Long; a son, David Allen; parents, Cecil and Vina Wagstaff; sisters, Malene Hickman, Frances Williams, and Patsy Ruth West; and brothers, Ray Wagstaff, G.C. Wagstaff, Eldon Wagstaff, Herman Wagstaff, and Weldon Wagstaff.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, located at 316 W. Columbia Street in San Augustine, Texas.

Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 19, 2023, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home chapel. Interment will follow at Hebron Cemetery, located on County Road 4600.
