Mr. Kent Mullis, 67, of San Augustine, Texas, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2020, at Nacogdoches Medical Center.
Mr. Mullis was born July 16, 1952, in Panola County, Texas. He was a longtime San Augustine resident and a 1971 graduate of San Augustine High School. A member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church, Kent was a self-employed trucker and a cattle rancher. Kent was also a veteran of the National Guard.
His survivors include his wife, Denise Epps Mullis of San Augustine; children, Matt and Liz Mullis of Grapevine, and Cody and Brittany Walton, Chelsea Lout, and Cory and Megan Thornton, all of San Augustine; grandchildren, Maddie, Coley, Colby, Hayley, Kallie, Brylie, Rylee, Natali, Kaylynn, Ryker, and Dalton, along with the twelfth grandchild due in February.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Marjorie Mullis.
Private services are being held.
