Mrs. Kay Louise (Eaton) Mincher of San Augustine County passed away Monday, July 18, 2022, at Nacogdoches Medical Center at the age of 75 years, 11 months, 26 days.
Kay was born July 23, 1946, in San Angelo, Texas, to parents Oma Dell (Vacker) and Robert Delmar Eaton. She formerly lived in the Dallas/Fort Worth for a number of years before moving to San Augustine County.
Her survivors include her children, Tami Merchant and husband Jeremy, Kristie Watson, and Kevin Sydow; step-daughter, Angela Shaffer; grandsons, Adam Merchant, Mason Merchant, Thomas Bird, James Bird, and Jeremy Chad Ayers; a sister, Cissy McKown; brothers, Bill Eaton, Tom Eaton, and Mike Eaton; and her fur babies, Rocky and Ellie Mae.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtiss Ray Mincher, on July 5, 2022; her father, Robert Delmar Eaton; mother, Oma Dell Vacker Wallace; a sister, Judy Wollard; a brother, Ray Eaton.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2022, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, located at 316 W. Columbia Street in San Augustine.
Funeral services are set for 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2022, at the Wyman Roberts Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Don Lofton officiating. Committal service and interment will follow at Hebron Cemetery, located on County Road 4600 near Broaddus.
Pallbearers: Adam Merchant, Mason Merchant, David Roberts, Glen Wagstaff, James Bird, Royce Ayers, Richard Ayers, and Kenneth Mincher.
