Kathy Marie (Bryan) McClelland

Mrs. Kathy Marie McClelland, age 46, of Broaddus passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021, at a Nacogdoches hospital.

She was born August 18, 1975, in Lufkin, Angelina County, and had been a lifelong resident of the Broaddus area. Kathy was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church in Zavalla. She had dedicated her life to serving others, having obtained education and licensure to become a Registered Nurse. Prior to her health causing limits on her ability, Kathy had worked in the hospital and nursing home settings, formerly serving as Director of Nursing for Twin Lakes Care Center in San Augustine.

Her survivors include her husband, Don McClelland of Broaddus; father, Jimmy Bryan of Broaddus; children, Trent McClelland and Taylor of Hudson, Alli McClelland of San Augustine, Matt Hudgins and wife Jenna of Lufkin, and Mark Hudgins and Kory of Lufkin; brothers, Ricky Bryan of Broaddus, Jimmy Wayne Bryan Jr. and wife Jeri of Broaddus, Josh Bryan and wife Elizabeth, and C.J. Bryan of Broaddus; sisters, Kay Lakey of Broaddus, Sue Ann Perkins and husband Jason of Broaddus, and Kristel Johns of Broaddus; mother-in-law, Frances McClelland of San Augustine; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Francis Victoria Bryan; and a brother-in-law, Robert Lakey.

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home chapel in San Augustine.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the chapel.
