Jimmy Dale Williams

Mr. Jimmy Dale Williams, age 54, a longtime resident of the Bland Lake community area, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020, in Lufkin, Texas.

He was born September 18, 1966, in Center, Texas, to parents Carrie Jane (Smith) Williams Griffin and Emmitt Williams. Having lived in the Bland Lake community area for the past several years, Mr. Williams had a longtime career in the air conditioning industry. He was a member of Rosevine Baptist Church.

His survivors include his parents, Carrie Jane Griffin of San Augustine, Texas, and Ray Griffin and Eileen Rigsby of San Augustine, Texas; his brothers, Billy Griffin and wife Kimberly of San Augustine, Texas, Donald Griffin and wife Kellie of Hemphill, Texas, Paul Griffin and fiance Carrie Nelson of Hemphill, Texas, and Emmitt Dewayne Williams of Huntsville, Texas; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Emmitt Williams; and a sister, Carol Jane Robertson.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 2021, at the Antioch Cemetery, located on Hwy. 147 North of San Augustine, with Bro. Don Noble and Bro. Cliff Durham officiating.

Pallbearers: Wesley Griffin, Justin Griffin, Austin Griffin, Tyler Griffin, Zachary Griffin, and Lane Griffin. Honorary pallbearers: Hunter Griffin, Chad Vaughn, and Mark Smith.
