Jimmie Ray Hogan

Mr. Jimmie Ray Hogan of Pineland, Texas, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2020, in Pineland, Texas, at the age of 69 years, 2 months, 29 days.

Mr. Hogan was born February 17, 1931, in Silsbee, Texas, to parents Fred Hogan and Vera Mae (Russell) Hogan and had been a lifelong resident of the Sabine County area. He was employed for several years as a heavy equipment operator in construction--he was a hard worker and enjoyed his work.

His survivors include his children, Darlene Jones of Milam, Texas, Rhonda Hogan of Orange, Texas, Jim Hogan of Milam, Texas, Heather Moody of Geneva, Texas, and Brianna Hogan of Hemphill, Texas; sisters, Freddie McGee of Rosevine, Texas, and Brenda Parrish of Pineland, Texas; grandchildren, Jodie Jones-McGee, Jason Jones, Kacey Newman Ebarb, Deven Newman, Tanner Hogan, Keana Ratcliff-Hogan, Keatan Combs, Sheldon Hogan, Asher Guillory, Trinity Tilton, Truely Tilton, Tristan Hogan, and Brinley Moody; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Hogan, in 1974, and his mother, Vera Mae Hogan, in 2000.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2020, at the Temple of God Church, located at 206 Yaupon Street in Pineland, Texas, under the direction of Wyman Roberts Funeral Home in San Augustine, Texas.
