Jerry Alan Wall, born February 26, 1956 also known as “Apaw” of Broaddus TX, went to be with The Lord on April 21, 2024 in Kingwood, TX. He was surrounded by his wife and children.
Jerry Alan was known as a master craftsman, a world class musician, for his generosity, and for his uncanny ability to light up a room. His laugh was infectious and everyone that knew him has a great “Alan story”. If he thought you needed it, he would give you the shirt off his back. He spent a good portion of his life following his dream of making it in the music industry with his brothers Danny and Tony. Many musicians and family members tagged along for the ride as they toured the United States performing country music under the name “The Wall Brothers”.
Long after his days of touring were over, Jerry Alan returned to his East Texas roots uniting the whole family in singing gospel music and praise and worship at The First Baptist Church of Broaddus, TX.
Alan spent his weekdays working in Orange, TX and his weekends at home on Lake Sam Rayburn. He loved God, his family, hunting, fishing, telling tall tales, hot rods, and off-road vehicles. His playful nature made spending time with him a blessing for everyone.
Alan is proceeded in death by brother Tony Wall and is survived by parents William Jerry and Murlene Wall, wife Tammy Wall, two children, Bree Gaitz (husband Russell Gaitz) and Dr. William Wall (wife Jennifer Wall). Three stepchildren Callie Coutris (husband John Coutris), Camlin Goodell (husband Preston Goodell), and Cade Beard. His grandchildren, Jake Gaitz, Jensyn Wall, Jayci Wall, Presley Coutris, Sienna Coutris, Meadow Goodell, Goldie Goodell. Sister Cindy Woodard (husband Dwight Woodard), Brother Danny Wall, and sister in law Tisha Wall. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, for whom he loved.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2024, at the First Baptist Church in Broaddus, Texas.
