Jerry Lynn Howell

Mr. Jerry Lynn Howell, age 66, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2020, at his residence in the Kingtown community (Nacogdoches County, Texas).

Jerry was born January 22, 1954, in San Augustine County, Texas, to parents Thelma (Cupit) Howell and Edward Willie Howell. In his early years, he enjoyed bull riding. Jerry loved his family and had worked as a lineman in the construction industry. He had lived in the Kingtown community for the past several years.

His survivors include his wife, Patsy Howell of Kingtown; sons, Herman Paul Riehl of Kingtown, Rocky Lee Sheffield and wife Tina of Jasper, James David Sheffield of Kingtown, and Richard Daman Sheffield and wife Megan of Kingtown; his brothers, Doug Howell and wife Linda of Frankston, Texas, and Charles Howell and wife Belinda of Groveton, Texas; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Willie Howell, in 1979; and his mother, Thelma Cupit Glover, in 2011.
