Guarnece (Wise) Martin

Mrs. Guarnece Martin, age 86, of San Augustine County, Texas, passed away Monday, May 24, 2021, at her residence.

Mrs. Martin was born August 19, 1934, in San Augustine County to parents Crockett Wise and Annie Sowell Wise. She was a longtime area resident of the area and retired from management of rental equipment.

Her survivors include her brother, Alvis Dennon Wise; a sister, Annie Maudice Wise Collins; nieces, Melinda Collins Mullins and Rhonda Collins Morris; nephews, Albert Collins and Alvis Collins; and numerous other family members.

She was preceded in death by a son, Roy Dean Martin; her husband, Roy Lee Martin; parents, Crockett and Annie Wise; brother-in-law, Clifford Collins; and two great-nephews, Stacy Martin and Jonathan Wayne Summers Jr.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, 316 W. Columbia Street in San Augustine, followed by a 2:00 p.m. graveside service at Attoyac Cemetery with Bro. Jim Moss officiating.

Pallbearers: Albert Collins, Alvis Collins, Jerry Martin, Gary Martin, Shon Summers, and Paul Morris.
