Gloria Christell Wall

Mrs. Gloria Christell Wall, age 88, a longtime resident of Broaddus, Texas, passed away Friday, December 11, 2020.

Christell was born March 10, 1932, in Broaddus to parents Hester Coleman Harvey and Elvin Elias Harvey. She had lived most of her life in the Broaddus area and was dedicated to taking care of her family's needs. She had a great love for gardening and working with the flowers and plants at her home. Everything was great as long as she had her Dr Pepper to drink. Mrs. Wall was a member of the Church of Christ.

Her survivors include her daughters, Christy Smith and husband Phillip of Tyler, Texas, Cathy Mayberry of Huntington, Texas, Lorri Lewis and husband Don of San Augustine, Texas; a sister, Juanice Beard of Broaddus, Texas; a brother, Wondale Harvey of Broaddus, Texas; grandchldren, Ryan Smith, Krista Everett, Ashley Mayberry, Jacob Mayberry, Morgan Patrick, and Torie Lewis; great-grandchildren, Chloe, Camden, and Carson Smith, Johnny, Jaxon, Alex, and Kirby Everett, Tate, Teal, and Sydney Mayberry, and Brody Patrick; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elvin and Hester Harvey; husband, Odell Wall; and a son-in-law, Brad Sullivan.

Visitation will be held Saturday, December 12, 2020, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home.

Funeral services are set for 2:30 p.m. Sunday, December 13, 2020, at the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Harvey Cemetery, located off Hwy. 147 in Broaddus, Texas.

Pallbearers: Ryan Smith, Jacob Mayberry, Randahl Patrick, Russell Harvey, Russell Harvey Jr., and Camden Smith. Honorary pallbearers: Tate Mayberry and Teal Mayberry.
