Frances Brown Obituary

Frances Brown, 67 years of age, passed on Monday, November 22, 2021 in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her beloved family.

Frances was born on August 14, 1954 in Orange Texas, to the late Burbon and Patricia Burns. She was the oldest of three children. A sister, Sandra Scallan, and brother James “Bo” Burns. Frances was a retired LVN. She loved taking care of people, it was one of her joys in life. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother and nawnaw. There was nothing more important to her than her family. She loved music. She loved for her girls to get together and cook with her. It was never a dull moment when you were around her. She would always have something clever and funny to say. She never cut our daddy any slack. She enjoyed hunting season in hopes that everyone got them a big buck. She was extremely excited about her bragging rights the day she shot her buck of her front porch. She loved reading her Bible and spreading Gods love and encouraging her family to follow Gods word. One of her many hobbies was crocheting. She was always thinking of others. To know her was to love her. Frances married the love of her life on August 11, 1972. They had two children. A daughter, Cheryl Brown Stephens - husband Tony and a son, Raymond Earl Brown, Jr. - wife Rachael. She cherished her growing family, six grandbabies and six great grandbabies with one on the way. Two nephews Joesph Scallan and Shane Scallan.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond Earl; daughter, Cheryl Stephens and husband, Tony of San Augustine; son Raymond Earl Brown, Jr. and wife Rachael of San Augustine; grandchildren, Austin Stephens and wife, Shelby of San Augustine, Chase Stephens , Ty Stephens and wife, Hallie, Seth Stephens and fiancé, Jordan, Garrett Brown and wife, Harlie of San Augustine, Baige Brown and Garrett Stanley of San Augustine; great-grandchildren, Lawson, Avalee, Timbre, Byler, Gunner, Daxton; sister, Sandy Scallon of Broaddus; brother, Bo Burns of Broaddus.
