Eva "Eve" Rivas

Eva “Eve” Rivas, 57, who resided in San Augustine, Texas, left on her journey to eternal life on March 26, 2022, at Doctors Medical Center in California.

She was born November 20, 1964, to Juana M. Rivas and Abelino M. Rivas.

Eve enjoyed spending time with loved ones and close friends. She had devotion for her faith and love of her Catholic religion. She had an attribution for hard work.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, one sister, one brother and two nephews. She is survived by her significant other of 14 years, John Roeder, and five daughters, 12 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

A rosary will be held Thursday, April 7, 2022, at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2022, at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Father Susai Avula will officiate. A reception will follow.
