Elouise Wimberley

Elouise Wimberley, age 86, of Broaddus, Texas, passed away Friday, October 29, 2021, in Lufkin, Texas. 

Mrs. Wimberley was born August 22, 1935, in Sabine County, Texas,  to parents Gladys (Toney) Parker and Marion D. Parker. She married the love of her life, the late James "Jay" Wimberley June 2,1956, having celebrated 50 years of marriage until he passed away July 10, 2006. She retired from Temple-Inland where she worked as a secretary.  She enjoyed pipelining with her husband and she enjoyed cooking for her family, where she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, beloved sister, and a loving friend.  She was of the Jehovah's Witness faith.

Those who are left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Tina Wimberley Dean and husband Andy of Broaddus; son, James T. "Timmy" Wimberley and his wife Liz of Broaddus; grandchildren, Catrina Runnels of Nacogdoches, Ashly Wimberley Nelson of Broaddus, Jayla Mangrum and Brandon of Huntington, Cissy Wimberley Wright and Buck of Broaddus, Kim Scarber and Paul of Huntington, Wyatt Wimberley of Broaddus; great-grandchildren, Haily Nelson of Zavalla, Ryder Nelson of Zavalla, Cierra Runnels of Nacogdoches, Trevin Nelson of Zavalla, Cloie Wright of Broaddus, Kaden Scarber of Huntington, J.T. Wright of Broaddus, Bailey Scarber of Huntington, Jagger Mangrum of Huntington,  and Jennings Mangrum of Huntington; sisters, Joye Runnels of Lufkin and Eunice Bridges of Synder; brothers, Walter Parker of New Mexico and Leonard Parker of Waller; a sister-in-law, Florence Rushing of Deer Park, along with a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gladys and Marion Parker; husband, James "Jay" Wimberley; daughter, Lisa Ann Wimberley; a beloved grandson, Jason Dallas Wimberley; and a sister, Jo Anne Hilker.

Pallbearers will include be Timmy Wimberley, Jimmy Wimberley, Wyatt Wimberley, Brandon Mangrum, Michael Rushing and Jack Runnels.  Honorary pallbearers will be Ryder Nelson and Trevin Nelson. 

Graveside Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Runnels Cemetery in Broaddus. Officiating will be Jimmy Runnels. 

Visitation will be held Monday evening, November 1, 2021, from at 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel located at 316 West Columbia Street in San Augustine.
