Edward H. Emmons, age 66, of San Augustine, TX, passed away on April 8, 2020, in San Augustine, TX. Edward was born in San Augustine, TX, on June 19, 1953, to the late E. H. Emmons, Sr. and Ella (Eller) Emmons.
Edward attended San Jacinto College before starting his career at Quantum Chemical where he was a Chemical Operator for over 25 years. After leaving Quantum, he started his own agricultural services company in San Augustine. He was a member of the San Augustine Cook-off Go Texan Committee for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. He enjoyed traveling and playing dominos in his spare time.
He is survived by his daughters, Elissa Emmons and Jessica Calvin, his sons, Shane Emmons and Jake Smith; his step-son, David Jones; grandson, Dorian Emmons. He is also survived by his former spouses Linda Emmons and Judy Shanell.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Ann Emmons, and beloved parents, Edward Hudson Emmons, Sr., and Ella (Eller) Emmons.
Graveside Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 13th, at McRae Cemetery in San Augustine, TX., with Charles Sharp officiating. An online video stream will be available for those who cannot attend in person.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the McRae Cemetery Association at Texas Bank and Trust, P.O. Box 639, in San Augustine.
