Delores Mae Oliver

Mrs. Delores Mae Oliver, age 86, of Broaddus, Texas, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021, at Colonial Pines Health Care Center in San Augustine, Texas.

Mrs. Oliver was born April 19, 1935, in Devils Lake, North Dakota, to parents Bonnie Mae (Reynolds) and Harry Marvin O'Brian. She was a former longtime resident of Manvel, Texas, before moving to Broaddus several years ago. She found great pleasure in gardening, cooking, and outdoor activities with her family. She was a dedicated wife and mother, who loved taking care of her family's needs. Mrs. Oliver found great joy and fulfillment with a 1982 mission trip to Australia with her husband.

Her survivors include her sons, Gary Wayne Oliver of Humble, Texas, Harry Leslie Oliver of Palestine, Texas, Larry Ray Oliver of Brandon, Florida, and Kerry Lee Oliver of Humble, Texas; a daughter, Terry Oliver Scott of Broaddus, Texas; brothers, Wayne O'Brian of Oklahoma, Bob O'Brian of Cypress, Texas, Ron O'Brian of Brenham, Texas, Don O'Brian, and Glen O'Brian of Sacramento, California; 16 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. "Jim" Oliver; parents, Harry Marvin and Bonnie Mae O'Brian; a sister, Winifred Joann Oliver; and brothers, Gene O'Brian and Marvin O'Brian.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at the Wyman Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in San Augustine, Texas, with Bro. Don Lofton officiating. Committal service and interment will follow at Broaddus Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Jimmy Lee Scott, Jerry Wayne Stanley, Garrett Austin Stanley, David Justin Oliver, Mitchel Escagne, Mason Escagne, Christopher Glen Oliver, and Robert Austin Oliver. Honorary pallbearers: Hunter James Scott, Jameson Reid Stanley, Charlotte Jolee Scott, Timbre Rayne Jacks, and Keith Joseph Oliver.
