Delorace Wanamaker

Mrs. Delorace Wanamaker of Broaddus, Texas, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2020, in San Augustine, Texas, at the age of 81.

Mrs. Wanamaker was born November 14, 1938, in Livingston, Texas, to parents Sylvester and Arrie (Sweeten) Foxworth. She had worked as a trucking company's secretary and lived in the Broaddus area for a number of years. She was of the Baptist faith.

Her survivors include her husband, Elvis Wanamaker of Broaddus, Texas; a son, Jimmy Carter of Denison, Texas; daughters, Debbie Davis and Jim Phillips of Jasper, Texas, and Vivian Yates and Frank Gibson of Montgomery, Texas; sisters, Irene Martin of Camden, Texas, and Lorene Gross and Thomas of Henderson, Texas; brothers, Floyd Foxworth and Barbara of Livingston, Texas, and Waymon Foxworth and Kathy of Livingston, Texas; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvester and Arrie Foxworth; a daughter, Silvia Michler Strickland; a sister, Linda Gayle Foxworth; and a brother, David Foxworth.

Funeral services are set for 1:00 p.m. Sunday, February 16, 2020, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in San Augustine, Texas. Interment and committal service will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery, located on County Road 2225 near Woodville, Texas, in Tyler County.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 15, 2020, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home.
