Mr. Christopher Darnell Harris, age 27, of San Augustine, Texas, gained his wings on January 31, 2021.

Christopher was born November 20, 1993, in Nacogdoches, Texas.  He was the third child of a family of boys whom the Mom, esteemed the motto: "Doin' just fine!  As a youth Christopher was reared in San Augustine, and Joaquin.  He attended the Sunset Church of Christ, San Augustine, The Joaquin Church of Christ in Joaquin.  Due to his mother's employment at Center Independent School District, Christopher was a transfer student from 1999 through 2004.  Great times and wonderful friendships were experienced.  Christopher was always cheerful, polite, and well mannered.

Upon the union of his Mom and Dad, in 2004, he relocated with his older sibling to Nacogdoches, Texas.  The family ties extended.  The bond was strengthened with the Whitaker, Brown, Gregory, Brooks, and White families.  A wonderful admiration for this big loving family ensued, wonderful relationships, and wonderful times.

Christopher loved basketball and upon his love for the sport, decided to pursue a little dribblers career and joined the team.  Chris signed on with the Rockets Basketball Team.  He displayed some great team player skills.  He joined the band at McMichael Middle School where he tired out his tuba playing skills.  He was always an avid basketball player and often you would find him playing this game with family members and friends.  He graduated from Nacogdoches High School in 2012.  After graduation he worked as a laborer and decided thereafter to enlist in the United Sates Army, where he served from  2012 - 2017.

He worked construction and was looking forward to his new career enhancement and opportunity.  He talked of continuing his education as a massage therapist, and also becoming a license barber.

Christopher was a very polite, and mild mannered young man.  He enjoyed sharing times with his family and friends, dining at home and dining out.  He was a smiling gentleman with hopes and aspirations for the future.  He had a beautiful smile, and a beautiful kind hearted spirit.  He love the family and family times.
