Mrs. Betty Ruth Warren of Crosby, Texas, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2020, in Humble, Texas, at the age of 76.
Mrs. Warren was born February 11, 1944, in Center, Texas to John Joseph and Lena Mae (Bittick) Fountain, she went to school in Aldine ISD, Jensen Drive and North Central Assembly of God churches. She was wed to the late Carey Dean (CD) Warren December 21, 1966, in Houston, Texas. They raised two amazing children, Melissa and Dean and remained married for 51 years. Betty spent many years in Home Interior, she loved to decorate her home and others. She loved to dress up from head to toe, with coordinating jewelry and shoes. She loved all colors, bright, bling, the bolder the better, although her favorite color was purple. She was a devoted wife and stay at home mother, and in her later years she was mom to her 4-legged companion, Sammy Joe. She love the Lord, and had a giving and compassionate heart, always offering to help others. She loved fiercely and lived fully. Her ability to grow a beautiful plant from nothing but a twig, she had a love for working in the yard and in the flowerbeds, taking pride in her flowers.
She was preceded in death by her husband Carey Dean Warren; parents John Joseph and Lena Mae (Bittick) Fountain; sister Johnnie Murle; daughter Deborah Lynette; brother Waymon Fountain
Graveside services are set for 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 14, 2020, at Spring Ridge Cemetery in San Augustine County, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Dean Warren, Craig Perry, Kyle Warren, Jeremy Hoffart, Cody Hoffart, Carey Warren III
