Patsy Marshall Murray of San Augustine County, Texas, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 28 2019, at her residence at the age of 72 years, 2 months, 25 days.
Born June 3, 1947, to parents James Marshall and Eva Lois (Vestal) Marshall, Patsy was a native and longtime resident of San Augustine County. She had worked as a teacher's aid with San Augustine Independent School District. Mrs. Murray was a member of Magnolia Springs Baptist Church and the Order of the Easter Star.
Her survivors include her sons, Brent Murray and Reginna Wise of San Augustine County, Texas, and Brad Murray and Patty of Maine; grandchildren, Abby Murray of San Augustine County, Texas, and Nicholas and Megan Murray of Maine; and brothers, Jack Marshall and wife Judy, Frank Marshall and Kathy Brittain, and Roland (Hootie) Marshall and wife Roxanne.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Murray; parents, James and Eva Lois Marshall; and brothers, Howard Marshall and Robert Marshall.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, 2019, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, located at 316 W. Columbia Street in San Augustine, Texas.
Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30, 2019, at Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel with Bro. Leo Wright officiating. Interment will follow at Magnolia Springs Cemetery in San Augustine County, Texas.
Pallbearers: Coach Conn, Barry Welch, Jimmy Faulkner, Weston Marshall, Curtis Bridges, and Johnathan Mendez. Honorary pallbearers: Gaylon Murray, Clifton Layton, Cliff Holloway, and Tim Cunningham.
